We have had a fabulous first few weeks in Cofton Class.
We have explored a range of texts such as ‘The Snail and the Whale’ and ‘How to wash a woolly mammoth’.
We have also been mathematicians… solving problems with two digit numbers using addition and subtraction.
Here are a few of our favourite moments…
We have been doing some ‘spooky’ phonics, using plural words in short stories.
We have been adding and subtracting two digit numbers using the number line.
Finlay filled Miss Chaulk’s shoes and challenged the class to help him solve an addition problem.
Charlie did some fantastic problem solving and was really keen to help Finlay and the class solve the problem.
Alfie and Codie have enjoyed doing some fantastic number work with Miss Cridge.
We were introduced to the 10p and 1p coin and worked out the coins we would need to buy certain items.
We had a very exciting pet day with some special visitors including Gingee, Max, Marley and Archie.
Snow and Toffee enjoyed a carrot from our snack basket!
